WEATHER BLOG: Brisk Conditions

There is still a decent pressure gradient causing brisk conditions around the region. Most temps are in the low to mid 30s, but the wind of course makes it feel much colder, with wind chill values anywhere from the teens to the 20s. Sunshine definitely is abundant this afternoon with is a nice change of pace. We will likely see more sunshine at least to start Thursday morning, followed by increasing clouds. Another Alberta clipper will swing through bringing us a chance for a rain/snow shower Thursday afternoon and evening, but we aren't expecting very much precipitation with this system. Some of the northern areas will pick up a coating to an inch by Friday a.m. Otherwise, we are working on ironing out details with a storm system moving in Sunday/Monday. For now, it does look like it has the potential to bring us wintry weather. Stay tune for updated details regarding this.
