WEATHER BLOG: Brief Warmup

Well Maryland, we almost set a record low this morning for the date as we bottomed out at 6 above zero. The record was 4! Today we only got up to 20 despite all that blue sky and sunshine. Our normal high and low is 41/24, by the way. We actually have a brief warmup on the way tomorrow as we will finally get above freezing again. With this surge of warmer air comes clouds and a slight chance of some flurries or a snow shower or two by early Friday, so be on the lookout for that possibility. The cold arctic air will be right back again by later Friday night and all day Saturday once again. By Sunday, another slightly warmer day is on tap and we might even get into the upper 30s! A weak system may also bring the chance of some mixed precipitation here by Monday and possibly Tuesday... details still up in the air on that! Stay warm and see you tonight.
