WEATHER BLOG: Another Hot One

Today has been another hot one with temperatures in the 90s. Temps will back off somewhat during the remainder of the week, but humidity levels will remain high. Dew points have risen across the area since the weekend, and they will go up even more tomorrow. A stray, pop-up shower will be possible through the evening with most areas remaining dry, then we will be quiet and muggy overnight. Thanks to some extra cloud cover, heat should back off somewhat tomorrow, but a shower or t-storm will still be possible in the afternoon/evening hours. Highs on Tuesday are forecast to make it into the upper 80s. We can expect scattered shower and t-storm activity on Wednesday with more widespread and organized showers and t-storms arriving Thursday as a cold front approaches.
