WEATHER BLOG: Another Cold Night

Another very cold night again across the state with somewhat lighter winds, but still quite harsh out there. Tomorrow, a weak system will likey bring a few snow showers or flurries later in the day, but anything that falls will be very light. Temperatures will perhaps get just to the low 30s. Thursday looks dry and a tad milder, too. However, we are watching an area of low pressure that is still about 3,000 miles away off the Pacific Coast. That will be the big player in our weather Friday and Saturday. It is likley to produce copius amounts of precipitation and plenty of snow is possible in many areas as well. It's still too early to pinpoint amounts at this early juncture, but be prepared just in case all the elements come together and produce a major snowstorm for the region, which is entirely possible! We will have further updates later, and will try to pinpoint where the rain/snow line and amounts will likley setup. Stay tuned and stay warm.
