WEATHER BLOG: Another Chilly Night

After a chilly and brisk Sunday afternoon, skies will turn mostly clear tonight. This will allow temps to drop off again quite noticeably. Patchy frost will be possible in the coldest sheltered spots from northern Maryland through eastern PA as winds somewhat diminish. However, no widespread frost is expected to occur. Our flow will turn southerly ushering in milder and more seasonable conditions on Monday as sunshine in the AM mixes with clouds by mid-day. A front will approach our neighborhood from the west and bring rainfall to the region as early as Monday night lasting through Tuesday AM before finally pushing out. Rainfall is not expected to be heavy or even ongoing for a long duration, but several rounds of rain will be possible totalling up to around 0.25".
