WEATHER BLOG: About The Next Storm . . .

Hi, everyone.

We are about halfway through with this current polar blast. At least the winds have calmed. Friday will be 25 degrees, 15 degrees by night, but the weekend will be milder.

No, we are not going back to the 60s, but at 40 or above Saturday/Sunday, we can catch our breath before another winter mess on Monday and cold conditions returning next week.

Speaking of the next storm, it will be a mess. There will be a band of heavy snow well north of Maryland, but here we will be on that line of rain/sleet/some freezing rain before a changeover Monday afternoon of 1-3" of snow.

Could this forecast change for the worse? Not at this time. We think we are on solid ground, but it is going to be close. In other words, stay abreast of the weather through the weekend.

Hello March.

We need a break.
