WEATHER BLOG: A Nice February Day

After a chilly start to the morning, with a low of around 22 degrees at BWI, it turned out to be a very nice February day, with an official high of 44 degrees. The nice February weather will continue on Sunday and will be a few degrees milder. Look for highs in the mid to upper 40s to right around 50 degrees in some spots with partly sunny skies. As we head into the beginning of next week, the forecast will get more complicated. On Monday, we will be brushed with a coastal storm that will bring us mainly an increase in cloud cover. Then another storm will move into the region starting us off with some mixed precip Monday night, transitioning to all snow and snow showers on Tuesday. Right now, accumulations only look to amount to a couple of inches, but things can change and nothing is set in stone just yet.
