Vinny Cerrato: Ravens Offense Off To A Good Start

I liked what I saw from the starting group on offense.

Joe Flacco was in good rhythm on 4 of his 5 passes and he completed all of those 4 passes. He was in control, looked poised, and ran the offense well.

The offensive line did a good job in both run and pass protection. The zone blocking scheme worked well. The landmarks of the line were good, they moved well, and adjusted well on the move.

The backs were decisive on there reads, ran hard, and moved the pile.

I thought the Tight Ends did a good job blocking in the run game.

I was very impressed with Kyle Juszczyk in both the run game as a blocker and as a receiver.

The receivers blocked well down the field and ran good routes.

Overall was good start but they must still continue to improve.
