New Video Released In Fatal Road Rage Incident From Md. To Pa.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- New surveillance video is released by investigators in the road rage case that stretched from Maryland to Pennsylvania. Timothy Davison was murdered by another driver on Interstate 81.

WJZ has been investigating this story for two months as the killer remains on the loose.

Christie Ileto explains police are desperately seeking witnesses to come forward.

New video just released Thursday shows a blue Ford Ranger heading south on Interstate 81 in the early hours of Jan. 4. Police believe the truck violently rammed Timothy Davison off the interstate, leaving him stuck in the median.

Officials say that wasn't enough for the driver, who moments later turned around and fatally fired multiple gunshots into Davison's car.

"Throughout the course of the investigation, everything that we've come across, that we are confident that is the vehicle," police said.

It's not just the suspect's vehicle police are focusing on, but the other cars passing by.

"I think it's really important for people to come forward and be witnesses," Davison's mother, Theresa Allocca, told WJZ.

She hopes the new video will lead police to her son's killer.

"You could see on the southbound lane where people's brake lights were showing, so they did slow down. I'm sure they saw something," Allocca said.

The 28-year-old was driving back to Maine after visiting family in Florida. Police say the predator in the pickup truck chased Davison for 15 miles, starting near Hagerstown.

"Hopefully by issuing the video, it might job some people's memories," said police.

Police say the murder happened in sight of a traffic camera, but it's the new video that police hope will bring witnesses forward and shed light on the moments before the senseless murder.

If you were in the area when this happened and have any information, call Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS. You can remain anonymous.
