United Way Establishes Fund For Ellicott City Flood Victims

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The United Way of Central Maryland has established a fund to provide humanitarian relief to those impacted by the devastating flash floods in Ellicott City over the weekend.

The ECStrong fund, formed at the request of Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman, will collect donations for the effort. 100 percent of donations collected will be directed toward disaster recovery efforts in the county, which is under a state of emergency.
