Unattended Item Closes Part Of Main Terminal At Dulles Airport

WASHINGTON (WJZ) -- An unattended item closes part of the main terminal at Dulles International Airport.

Out of an abundance of caution, Dulles officials say a portion of the main terminal's arrivals and departures level is temporarily closed.

Airport police and fire are investigating an unattended item.

Several airline ticket check-in counters and baggage claim carousels are affected.

Flights are operating, and airport roadways remain open.
