U.S. Olympian Katie Zaferes On The Conditions She Will Face During The Rio Olympics

Katie Zaferes is the top rated woman in the USA Triathlon's ranking system and a part of the Rio Olympic team.

Katie joined Ken and Steve to talk about the conditions she will have to deal with while competing in the Rio Olympics.

Katie started by talking about the conditions she will face while competing in Rio at the Olympics saying "in Copa Cabana we're swimming in the ocean and it's a moving body of water, we swam there last year...I've definitely taken precautions where I probably won't swim before the race, we've swam in a lot of different bodies of water some more clean than others and it's just part of the sport."

Katie went on to talk about her local roots in Maryland, how she made the U.S. Triathlon team and why she will not be in Rio for the opening ceremonies.
