Two Juveniles Arrested In Baltimore Carjacking

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore police say two juveniles are facing charges after a carjacking and armed robbery.

Authorities say officers were called to the 2200 block of Kentucky Avenue on Friday night for a report of a carjacking. A short time later, officers received a call in the 2100 block of Lake Avenue for a report of an armed robbery.

Officers subsequently determined the crimes were committed by the same suspects.

Officials say officers assigned to a recent Community Stabilization Initiative spotted the carjacking victims' vehicle in the 3200 block of Belair Road, and that two suspects leapt from the car but were captured a brief foot chase.

One suspect is a 15-year old male, the other 13 years old.

A weapon that was recovered turned out to be a BB gun.
