Two Injured In Glen Burnie Shooting, Police Say

GLEN BURNIE, MD. (WJZ) — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a shooting in Glen Burnie early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the 7900 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard around 3:10 a.m. for a report of a shooting.

 

When they arrived, they found a man injured from a non-fatal gunshot wound to a lower extremity. The victim said he was driving in the 7700 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard with two female passengers when someone shot at his vehicle, striking him and the woman in the front passenger seat.

The man continued to drive and called 911 for help.

Emergency crews arrived to give aid.

The woman suffering a minor wound and was treated on scene. The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The other passenger wasn't injured.

Investigators say multiple shots were fired at the vehicle.
