Trump: Obama Is Founder of Islamic State Group

WASHINGTON (AP) --Donald Trump says President Barack Obama is the founder of the Islamic State group.

Trump in recent days has accused Hillary Clinton rhetorically of being the founder of IS. He's referring to national security policies in the Middle East that he says enabled the extremist group's rise.

But Trump is now leveling that accusation directly at Obama during a rally in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Trump is also referring to the president by his full legal name: Barack Hussein Obama.
