Trump Disbands White House Business Councils After Resignations

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- President Donald Trump has disbanded two White House business councils after several members resigned following his remarks on the Charlottesville protest.

CEOs have been resigning since Saturday, when Trump blamed both sides for the weekend violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, between white supremacists and counterprotesters. The resignation accelerated after Trump on Tuesday again blamed "both sides."

Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank was one of the CEOs who resigned from the White House's American Manufacturing Council.
