Trumbo Named American League Co-Player Of The Week

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Outfielder Mark Trumbo was named AL Co-Player of the Week going .320/.346/.960 with 1-2B, having 5 homeruns (2 in 1 inning), 11 RBI, and eight runs in six games. He shares the award with Astros second baseman Jose Altuve.

Trumbo, who was acquired in an offseason trade with the Seattle Mariners, became the first player in Orioles history to hit five home runs within his first 10 games. He broke a record shared by nine players who hit four homers through their first 10 games with the team, most recently by Todd Zeile in 1996, Rafael Palmeiro in 1994 and Mike Pagliarulo in 1993.

Congrats, Trumbo!
