Suspect Arrested In Cecil County Triple Shooting

ELKTON, Md. (WJZ) — A Delaware man was arrested after police say he shot three people inside a Cecil County home on Tuesday.

The incident happened just after 6:00 p.m. in the 100 block of East Village Road in Elkton.

According to police, three victims, who were familiar with the suspect, reported that while they were in their living room watching television, the suspect began firing his weapon after being told to lower his voice.

Three victims, all 21-years-old, were injured by gun fire, were transported to area hospitals. They are expected to survive.

Police say they have arrested 25-year-old Tyree Naquand Pollard, of Delaware for his involvement in the shootings.

Further investigation revealed that Pollard also had outstanding warrants in Delaware and through the Elkon Police Department.

The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
