Triple Shooting in Norfolk, Va. Reportedly Aired on Facebook Live

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- Three men were hospitalized Tuesday night following a triple shooting in Norfolk County, Virginia that reportedly unfolded on Facebook Live video.

Officers were called to the scene, located in the 900 block of Bainbridge Boulevard in Berkley, after 6 p.m. for a report of gunfire, according to the Norfolk Police Department.

They found three men, ages 27 to 29, shot inside a vehicle. The shooting victims were rushed to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

A video that surfaced on Facebook Live appears to be related. Three men can be seen sitting in a car listening to music when a stream of gunshots rings out and the phone drops to the floorboard. A man's voice can then be heard imploring someone else to call 911, saying, "We need an ambulance, there's three of us shot."

At one point, someone can be heard relaying the Bainbridge Boulevard address to a dispatcher. Later, a separate voice can be heard apparently consoling the men.

Police have not yet confirmed the authenticity of the video, but detectives are aware of its existence, WTKR News 3 reports.

Investigators have not yet released any details about the description of the suspect or suspects responsible.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887).
