Transport Car Catches Fire On I-95 NB In Cecil Co.

CECIL COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)-- It's a Friday night traffic nightmare on I-95 North when a car transport vehicle catches fire.

It happened right before the Perryville Toll Plaza in Cecil County.

Flames quickly spread from the truck to the trailer and vehicles behind it.

As firefighters got the blaze under control, the interstate had to be shut down. Traffic was backed up for miles.

The lanes weren't totally reopened until 9 p.m. Friday.
