Hazmat Crews Cleaning Up Diesel Spill After Tractor-Trailer Overturns In Harford County

DARLINGTON, MD. (WJZ) — Hazardous material crews are cleaning up a diesel spill after a tractor trailer flipped over on a bridge over Deer Creek in Harford County Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened near the intersection of Darlington and Stokes roads near Darlington. The truck ended up lying across the bridge, blocking both lanes. officials said.

At least one person was hurt but is expected to be okay.

The truck was carrying furniture products, officials said.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area until the scene is cleared.
