Tractor-Trailer Fire Closes I-95 NB

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A portion of I-95 NB was shut down on Wednesday after a tractor-trailer went up in flames.

Sky Eye Chopper 13 was over the scene as crews extinguished the fire.

The incident happened around 1:00 p.m. prior to exit 49 (I-195) just before I-695.

Traffic was using the left shoulder of I-95 as crews worked to clear the scene.

Police say a second vehicle was also involved in the crash.

It's still unknown at this time if anyone was injured.
