Towson University Student Dies At Off-Campus Residence

TOWSON, Md. (WJZ) -- A Towson University student has died.

According to a Towson University spokesperson, the student died Saturday night. It was reportedly at an off-campus home on Joppa Road.

The student's age and identity have not been released.

Towson officials have been in touch with the family, who live out-of-state, university spokeswoman Gay Pinder said.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with our student's family and friends at this incredibly sad time," Pinder said.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown.
