Towson Falls To Penn State In Second Round Of NCAA Volleyball Tournament

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WJZ) -- Towson was eliminated in the second round of the NCAA women's volleyball tournament after a 3-2 loss to No. 11 Penn State on Saturday.

The Tigers (29-2) beat the Nittany Lions (25-5) 25-22 in the first set.

Penn State, however, came back to win consecutive sets and advance in the tournament.

Jonni Parker led the Nittany Lions with 19 kills. She added 5 digs to the mix.
