Tortoise Adventure In Aberdeen Leads To Odd Police Calls

ABERDEEN, Md. (WJZ) -- The Aberdeen Police Department got some unusual phone calls Wednesday when residents reported seeing a large tortoise.

Police responded to one resident's home where the tortoise was in the backyard and learned the tortoise's owners lived across the street.

Officers escorted the tortoise back home, but not before a photo op.
