Reports: Tony Romo Expected To Replace Phil Simms At CBS

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — According to multiple reports, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is expected to replace Phil Simms in the CBS broadcast booth next season.

The Associated Press earlier reported that Romo, the all-time passing leader for the Cowboys, was retiring, and headed to the broadcast booth after considering other offers from NFL teams.

The Sports Business Journal then reported that Romo would be replacing Simms at CBS. ESPN's Adam Schefter also reported that Romo would replace Simms, though no official announcement has been made at this time.
