Three Ravens Looking To Break Records In 2016

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Three Ravens have the potential to hit some pretty big milestones in their careers this coming season.

Steve Smith Sr., Elvis Dumervil, and Joe Flacco are all about reaching some big goals in 2016.

Steve Smith Sr. is on the hunt for 1,000 receptions. Smith needs just 39 more to reach that milestone. If he comes back this season, which seems to be the goal, it's very likely break the record in his sixteenth season.

Linebacker Elvis Dumervil needs just four more sacks to make it to 100, which would put him in the "Century Club" along with Terrell Suggs. Dumervil had six sacks last season, but in 2014, he registered 17 (his highest). It's almost guaranteed he will be able to get it done this coming season.

Joe Flacco is looking to top 4,000 passing yards for the first time in his career. He's made it to 3,986 in 2014 and 3,912 in 2013. Last year Joe only reached 2,791 yards, but his season was also cut short with the season-ending injury in November. The injury also halted Flacco's streak of consecutive starts in his career at 122 regular season games.

But, with so many new weapons on the field, there's a good chance the quarterback can hit the mark this season.

You can hear more about the milestones on the Ravens' Final Drive.
