3 Displaced After Brooklyn Park Home Catches Fire

BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WJZ) -- Anne Arundel county firefighters are investigating a Wednesday morning fire at a home in Brooklyn Park.

According to Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Russ Davies, a fire broke out a home in the 200 block of Arundel Road.

Explosions at the scene were caused by oxygen bottles, Davies said, but no one was injured. Three residents were displaced and one was transported to a local hospital for a medical issue.

Davies says the home has $150,000 in damage and Red Cross will be helping the displaced residents. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
