Thousands Packed Orioles Park For Opening Day

BALTIMORE (WJZ)--  Thousands packed Camden Yards on Friday to welcome home the 2014 AL East Champs.

Christie Ileto has more on the excitement

Overcast and a loss at home  didn't dampen fan excitement. Crowds of O's fans showed up and showed out for their team.

The lines are long and the crowds are pumped.

"We love Opening Day we come every year! it's a tradition," said one fan.

The Oriole's Home Opener is a right of swing, even for the youngest fans.

As usual Opening Day is sold out--sea of orange sweeps through Camden Yards.

"Manny is back and he's my favorite player," Cindy said.

The weather is damp, the score, not so hot. But fans care about one thing—to see if they can go back and do it again.
