Thousands Pack National Mall For Pre Earth Day Concert

WASHINGTON (WJZ)--Thousands pack the National Mall in Washington D.C. for a free concert to celebrate Earth Day!

Headlined by musicians like Train, Mary J Blige and Usher.

The concert's purpose is to raise awareness of environmental issues.

While Earth Day is officially on April 22nd, today's rally asked participants to commit to making environmentally friendly "acts of green."
