The Orioles Will Look To Bolster The Bullpen Rather Than Sign James Shields

Brittany joined Steve to talk about the Orioles off-season moves so far, and which other moves may be ahead.

Brittany started off by talking about James Shields and the possibility of the Orioles making a move for him saying "I think because of what they did last year I don't know if that is the answer for the Orioles...I think they'd like to add a reliever or two, I like Shields but I just don't see it happening." As for any relief pitchers available that the Orioles could sign Brittany said "there is no Andrew Miller lurking out there and no guy to get the fans excited...they could make a trade, ideally they want a guy who can get left handed and right handed batters out instead of a specialist." Brittany also talked about what the Orioles starting rotation will look like since they currently have six starters on their current roster.
