The Orioles Did Markakis A Favor By Staying Quiet On The Injury

Brent joined Ed and Steve live from Sarasota to talk about the Nick Markakis comments and what he has seen so far at spring training.
Brent talked about the Nick Markakis situation saying "I think the organization did Nick a solid by not mentioning the extent of the injury and getting into specifics...I think Nick is upset that the Orioles didn't trust that the surgery would fix the neck."
Brent also talked about Chris Davis saying he was embarrassed about the suspension last year and missing the playoffs and his new medication for this year.
As for whether or not anyone has jumped out at him in Sarasota yet Brent said "it's still too early most of the guys are taking batting practice inside so we haven't seen most of them yet."
