The Norris & Davis Show Best Of - Week Of April 30th

This week's edition of the Norris & Davis Show Best Of includes interviews with former Ravens front office member Phil Savage and the Ravens current Senior VP Kevin Byrne on the NFL Draft and Ronnie Stanley.

PHIL SAVAGE

Phil started off by talking about if the Ravens have their choice of Jalen Ramsey, Joey Bosa, and Laremy Tunsil who they would take saying "I think the Ravens have Jalen Ramsey on the top of that list from the help that they need in the defensive secondary...I think Tunsil or Ramsey goes to San Diego at #3, I think the Cowboys will take Bosa." As for who he thinks the Ravens will actually get at #6 Phil said "I think Ozzie would take Tunsil if he's there at six...if not I think he'll take one of those defensive line guys."

As for Joey Bosa and what he could bring to the Ravens Phil said "it's a bit of a square peg in a round hole situation...he plays hard, but the Ravens will have to modify what they do slightly to accommodate him." As for why Bosa doesn't fit the Ravens defense Phil said "to me he's a end in a 4-3 defense...if they take him it's a misfit in their scheme."

Phil also talked in depth about Laremy Tunsil's ability on the field and problems off the field, and broke down Jalen Ramsey though he doesn't believe Ramsey will make it to the Ravens at #6.

KEVIN BYRNE

Kevin started by talking about the Laremy Tunsil issue saying "it all went down pretty much right after Roger Goodell said welcome to the 2016 NFL draft...whoever hacked his account seemed to want to do this right at the start of the draft." Kevin also talked about Ozzie Newsome reviewing players tweets prior to the draft and noted that Ozzie said "some of these guys are stupid."

Kevin talked about if the Ravens received trade calls for the number six overall pick saying "yes there are all kinds of calls prior to the draft...a lot of teams were calling to see if we'd move at of the 6th spot and Ozzie always says yes and then we wait to see if our guy is there." Kevin also shared an interesting story about a trade that almost went down between the Cowboys and the Ravens where the Ravens may have moved up to the number four overall pick.
