The Latest Headlines In The NFL

Adam Levitan of Rotoworld joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to go around the NFL world with just a little more than a month left until the NFL Draft. There are more scandals in the NFL this week the Atlanta Falcons getting hit with a fine and loss of draft pick due to piping in fake crowd noise to the Georgia Dome. Adam gave his thoughts on the punishment handed down to the Falcons. "Like you said this NFL thing has turned into a soap opera where it's 365 days out of the year and it seems like people are more interested in the off the field stuff than what's going on on the field. This is something that actually effects the things that went on on the field, at least in Atlanta's case where they are actually pumping in fake crowd noise. I know that's something that is not that uncommon but they happened to get caught and they lost a 2016 5th round pick."

The other recent scandal in the NFL is the Cleveland Browns General Manager Ray Farmer texting plays to sidelines to Browns the offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan. Farmer has since been suspended for the first month of the 2016 season and the team was fined 250,000 dollars. Adam weighed in on the drama on the lake and how it could have impacted the departure of Kyle Shanahan. "I like Kyle Shanahan and I thought that he was a very talented offensive coordinator and I thought that he was a very good get for them at offensive coordinator. But then you see the dysfunction there and the whole text gate thing and he was like you know what I'm going to get out of here."

The Ravens appear to have a glaring hole on their depth chart at the Wide Receiver position with the departures of Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones to the West Coast. Adam weighed in on why Baltimore must the holes at receiver. "If you bring in Marc Trestman as your offense coordinator, you can't leave him with Kamar Aiken and Marlon Brown and Steve Smith as your top 3 wide outs. Marc Trestman has been an offensive coordinator or ran an offense in this league 13 times. Every time he has been in the top half of the league for pass attempts. I don't think he really wants to change his mentality because he is coming to Baltimore."
