Teens Attack Man In Patterson Park With Medieval Weapon

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A man was attacked in Patterson Park by suspects armed with a medieval weapon.

City police say the 41-year-old was sitting on the grass when he was approached by a group of teens.

One of them was wielding a "ball and chain" and hit him in the face.

The teens demanded his cell phone. When they didn't get it, they fled on foot.

The man suffered a puncture under his right ear and jaw.
