Teen Killed In Olney Crash, 2 Others Injured

OLNEY, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police say one teenager has died and two others are seriously injured after a crash in Olney.

The teens were driving on Hines Road early Saturday morning when the car struck a tree, hit a light pole and telephone box and flipped over before stopping.

Police say 15-year-old Shawn Richard Gangloff was thrown from the car and died of his injuries Sunday afternoon. He was riding in the back seat at the time of the crash.

Police say Austin Hall of Brookville and Maxwell Dechter of Silver Spring were both injured. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
