Teen Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-95

BALTIMORE (WJZ) - Maryland State Police say a 13 year old boy was killed after a multi-vehicle crash on I-95 near Route 200.

Officers say just after 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, a Honda Pilot was reported disabled in the roadway.

As a Dodge Caravan was approaching the Honda, a tractor-trailer struck hit the back of the Dodge and caused the accident that also struck a Volkswagen.

The driver of the dodge was  45-year old Tamara Moskowitz from Baltimore and a 13-year old passenger were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The 13-year old ended up succumbing to his injuries later in the evening. At last check, the woman remains in the hospital.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Dodge,  58-year old Maria Chryssos from Corpus Christi, Texas and her  passenger, Anastacia Chryssos from Perry Hall were both transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Volkswagon was not injured in the collision.

The crash is under investigation, but police say there was no indication of impairment at the time of the investigation.

Northbound I-95 was closed for about 5 hours during the investigation.
