Teen In Critical Condition After Skateboarding Accident In Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. (WJZ)—A teen is in critical condition after police say he was injured after riding his skateboard while holding onto the rear of a car.

It happened Thursday just before 8:00 p.m. in the area of Oyster Lane and South Ocean Drive.

Police say a 14-year-old boy suffered serious injuries when he lost his footing while riding his skateboard attached to the back of a vehicle.

Authorities did not indicate the rate of speed the car but traveling.

The teen was transported to Johns Hopkins Children's Center where he remains in critical condition.

No charges have been filed at this time.
