2 Injured After SUV Is Trapped Under Tractor-Trailer On I-695

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Two people have been seriously injured after their SUV went under a tractor-trailer on the outer loop of I-695 Friday.

The accident occurred just before 7 a.m. Friday in the westbound lanes of I-695 between the off-ramps for I-95 and Bel Air Road.

According to Baltimore County Fire, a black SUV became stuck after going under a tractor-trailer.

Two adults were pulled from the vehicle nearly an hour later. The identities have not yet been released.

Both were taken to Shock Trauma. Their current conditions are unknown.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
