Nothing Suspicious Found At Maryland School For The Deaf After Social Media Threats
FREDERICK, Md. (WJZ) -- Maryland School for the Deaf was evacuated Tuesday after threats were made on social media.
According to authorities, officers responded to the school at 8:13 a.m. after two threats were posted on social media.
Students at the school notified schools administrators about the threats.
Frederick Police, along with Maryland State Police, interviewed students and staff and did a protective sweep of the building.
Students were evacuated as a precaution and K9s were used to check the building.

Once the sweep was completed, the building was deemed safe and students could return to class.
Police also determined the messages originated outside the U.S.
