Suspicious Package Temporarily Closed Maryland Early Voting Location

ANNE ARUNDEL CO., Md. (WJZ) -- An early voting location in Anne Arundel County was closed for about two hours while authorities investigated a suspicious package in the parking lot.

The package was found at the Crofton Area Library, where early voting started on Thursday.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to the scene to investigate.

Fire crews found that the package contained electronics, but "no explosives or hazard."

The all clear was given just before 3:30 p.m., and operations returned to normal.
