Suspects Sought In Victoria's Secret Thefts

WALDORF, Md. (WJZ) -- Charles County authorities are asking for the public's help identifying two suspects they say were caught on camera stealing merchandise from Victoria's Secret at the St. Charles Towne Center in Waldorf.

The two women walked into the store about 8 p.m. last Friday, grabbed several items from a rack near the entrance and stuffed the merchandise into large plastic bags before running out, according to the Charles County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say a passerby recorded the incident.

Now investigators are trying to find out whether the suspects may be responsible for similar thefts reported throughout the area. There's a $1,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest in this case.

Anyone with any information on the case is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (301) 932-2222. Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Solvers by calling (866) 411-TIPS.
