Suspects Sought In Annapolis Window Tint Theft

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- Police are looking for two men accused of stealing window tint from an Annapolis business Tuesday evening and flashing a handgun when an employee tried to stop them.

The suspects went inside the business, located in the 1900 block of West Street, before 7:30 p.m. and one of them grabbed two rolls of window tint while the other suspect kept watch, according to the Annapolis Police Department.

When an employee confronted the men in the parking lot as they were leaving, one of the men allegedly lifted his shirt to reveal a handgun tucked in his waistband. The two men then got in their vehicle and left.

Investigators are turning to the public for help identifying the suspects, both of whom are described as middle-aged. One of the suspects was heavyset with a greying goatee, a green baseball cap, a grey T-shirt and black shorts and sneakers. The armed suspect is described as thin and wearing a black outfit with silver and teal sneakers.

Anyone with information on the identities or whereabouts of the suspects is asked to call police at 410-268-9000.
