Suspect Sought In Sex Attack Near New Carrollton Metro Stop

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- Investigators are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect sought in connection with a sexual assault of a woman reported in Prince George's County Thursday morning.

The victim reports the suspect attacked her inside of a business located in the 4000 block of Garden City Drive in Landover before 6:45 a.m., according to police. Police believe the suspect followed her there from the New Carrollton Metro stop.

The victim described the suspect as a young man who's about 5-foot-11 with a thin build, according to police. Surveillance images show him wearing a red jacket with a plus sign or cross on the back and sleeves.
