Suspect Injured After Being Shot By Prince George's Officer

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police are investigating after an officer shot a suspect apparently during a struggle over the officer's gun.

Police say the officer was on patrol in District Heights on Friday night when he heard a car crash and went to investigate. Police say the officer saw a suspect running away from the crash scene. The officer followed the suspect in his cruiser.
