Suspect Charged With Attempted Murder In March Shooting
BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A Northeast Baltimore man wanted in connection to a shooting that left another man wounded last month was arrested Thursday, according to police.
Police took Jonathan Miller, 24, of Rosekemp Avenue, into custody on Harford Road. He's being held without bail on charges of first-degree attempted murder and armed robbery.
Detectives obtained a warrant for Miller's arrest after identifying him as the suspect who shot a 24-year-old man in the thigh on North Wolfe Street March 26. The victim survived.
Miller has had several previous brushes with the law, according to online court records, which show a man with a matching name and address went free on $350,000 bond following a January arrest for a list of gun charges.
He was sentenced to a year behind bars in April 2012 after pleading guilty to drug charges including possession with intent to manufacture or distribute narcotics, court records show.
Records show the same man served time following a December 2010 conviction for misdemeanor second-degree assault.
