Police: Murder Suspect Not Found During Barricade Situation

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police say a barricade situation that started Wednesday afternoon is over, and the murder suspect who they thought was inside is still on the loose.

The barricade situation was near Saratoga St. and Fulton Ave., and police arrived on scene at noon after getting a report about a shooting.

Details have not yet been released about what led to the incident, but police say there was a shootout between two people.

A 28-year-old man was shot and killed.

When police arrived on scene, they were told the shooter was barricaded inside a home.

Several hours later, police say that suspect was not in the home, and is still not in custody.
