Suspect Arrested In OCMD Fight That Led To Man's Death

OCEAN CITY, Md. (WJZ) -- Police in Ocean City say they have arrested the man responsible for a fight so brutal, it led to the death of a Baltimore County man.

Twenty-one-year-old Darren Beattie of Sparrows Point is charged with manslaughter and second-degree assault.

Ocean City detectives say early in the morning of May 29, Beattie and 31-year-old Ryan Shupert of Lutherville got into a fight.

Shupert died of his injuries two days later. His death was ruled a homicide.
