Suspect Arrested In Brooklyn Park Stabbing And Shooting

BROOKYLN PARK, Md. (WJZ) -- A stabbing and shooting suspect is behind bars in Anne Arundel County.

Police first responded to reports of a shooting in the 500-block of Wood Street in Brooklyn Park.

Upon their arrival, officers found a man suffering from an apparent stab wound.

Investigators believe an altercation escalated between the victim and 27-year-old Alfatair Lamar Henry.

During that fight, police say Henry also discharged a firearm.

The 28-year-old victim was treated at Shock Trauma. He is expected to be OK.

Henry faces multiple charges, including first- and second-degree assault and attempted second-degree murder.
