Stray Cat In Talbot Co. Tested Positive For Rabies

TALBOT COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)-- Authorities in Talbot County, Maryland are urging residents to come forward after a stray cat is tested positive for rabies.

The cat is described as a black female medium sized cat with "6-inch by 2-inch bald patch on its back."

Talbot County Emergency Services say the cat was found in the 5700 block of Old Trapper Road in Trappe.

Health officials are urging residents to come forward if they, or their animals have come in contact with the cat by calling (410)-822-0095.
